Common Questions About The Wedding Experience

ENGAGEMENTS

We love it when our couples ask us to photograph them in a location that means something special to them! We usually photograph engagement sessions on weekdays in the hour after sunrise or the hour before sunset.

DIGITAL FILES

We average roughly 75-90 images per hour that we’re shooting. We love delivering our client’s files quickly and easily via an online gallery. You will have the ability to print, share and download your images as much as you want. We believe in freely sharing our work because that is what we would want if we were in your shoes!

RECEIVING YOUR IMAGES

You can expect to receive your engagement photo gallery 4-6 weeks after your session date.  Your wedding gallery will be sent to you 6-8 weeks after your wedding date.  We'll always post a few of our favorites to Facebook and Instagram to give you a sneak peek until the full galleries are ready!

COVERAGE

We are often asked if 8 hours is enough time to capture the full wedding story and the answer is yes! Our main goal right now is securing and saving your date. You can always add additional coverage as we get closer to the big day and we have a good idea of your timeline.

TRAVEL

Your engagement session and wedding day include 60 miles of roundtrip travel from our home office in Norwalk, Connecticut. If you’d like to have your photos taken at a location outside the of this area, we're up for the adventure!  The travel fee for destinations outside our regular area of coverage is $0.75 per mile on any additional mileage. We love traveling and are on the road quite a bit, so we’d love to make it work!  If you would like us to meet you at a location outside of Connecticut or New York for your engagement session or wedding where we don’t already have plans to visit, just let us know and we can give you a custom quote.

OUR PHOTOGRAPHY STYLE

We love being both interactive and discreet throughout the wedding day. There will be parts of the wedding day when we will need to be in control in order to accomplish everything that needs to be done while staying on schedule. There will also be moments when you won’t even know that we’re there (the ceremony, during dances and toasts, etc). We teach our couples how to pose, model and interact during their engagement session so they are naturals on the wedding day and don’t need quite as much instruction from us!

BOOKING

Once we have answered any questions you may have and you have decided that our Wedding Experience is exactly what you’re looking for on your wedding day, the next step is to finalize your booking. I will create an online contract and invoice that will walk you through the package and when you’re ready you can save your date by signing your contract digitally and sending in your $750 retainer payment.
