WHO ARE BOUDOIR SESSIONS FOR?
My boudoir sessions are for women of any age, size and shape! Whether you're a bride-to-be looking to give a beautiful gift to your future spouse or you're single and looking for a confidence booster, boudoir sessions are a fit for women in any stage of life.
WILL I RECEIVE DIGITAL PHOTOS?
Yes! Your edited, high-resolution photos are delivered to you in a private, password-protected online gallery for immediate download. Galleries are available for two weeks, and can be opened again upon request for a fee of $25 per week.
DO YOU EDIT THE IMAGES YOURSELF?
Absolutely! After your boudoir session, I’ll cull through the images to deliver to you, taking out only the test shots or photos where you may have blinked. I then take the time to carefully and professionally edit the images myself. I do not provide unedited photographs to my clients, as it would be similar to buying a car that is only partially assembled. You deserve only the very best!
DO I NEED TO HAVE MY HAIR AND MAKEUP DONE BY A PROFESSIONAL?
By no means should you put any pressure on yourself to have your hair and makeup done by a pro; several of my clients have kept things simple by doing it themselves. However, many ladies love the experience of being pampered by a professional hair and makeup artist before their boudoir session. Many of my clients have expressed how getting their hair and makeup done helped to boost their self-confidence even more! If you need recommendations for hair and makeup, I’ve worked with some of the best in the industry and would be happy to send their information your way!
WHAT OUTFITS SHOULD I WEAR?
There are endless choices when it comes to boudoir outfits. Some women like to stick with a sexier look (lace lingerie, baby dolls, bodysuits, etc), while others like to go with a cozier vibe (a chunky knit sweater, knee-high socks, an off the shoulder cotton shirt, etc.). I personally love when my clients come with a variety of outfits because it allows us to narrow down some of your favorites together! WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN AN HEIRLOOM ALBUM AND AN HEIRLOOM BOOK?
Albums and books are an elegant and classy way to display your beautiful boudoir photos, while also giving you a precious heirloom to enjoy for years to come! The main difference between the two are options for cover materials and the pages. Albums have a much wider selection for cover materials; there are more colors to choose from, as well as a wider variety of leathers and linens. Books have one option in regards to cover material and fewer colors. The pages in both albums and books are lay flat, meaning I can design a panoramic spread on a few of the pages in the final product! However, the pages in the albums are much thicker, as they’re mounted flush to a 1/32” board, while the pages of the books are similar to heavy-duty card stock. Both albums and books are available in three sizes: 8x8, 10x10, and 12x12.
HOW MANY OUTFIT CHANGES AM I ALLOWED DURING MY SESSION?
I don’t limit the number of outfit changes during your session. In my opinion, the more outfits you bring, the more variety you’ll have in your final gallery and album!
I'M READY TO BOOK. WHAT’S NEXT?
To reserve your session date, I require a signed contract and a non-refundable retainer fee of $300, which goes towards the balance of your invoice. Once I have received both from you, your session is officially booked and I’ll send along my session planning guide!
