AN INTIMATE WEDDING CELEBRATION AT CHAPLIN

Where do I even begin with these sweet grooms?! Ray and Joe reached out earlier this year about capturing their spring wedding celebration, and I instantly adored them from the first time we spoke. After 17 wonderful years together, the grooms made it official last month, tying the knot on their anniversary in a quiet ceremony at their home. To mark this joyful milestone, Joe and Ray gathered with their closest family and friends this April for an intimate celebration at Chaplin, a stylish restaurant nestled in the heart of Shelton, Connecticut.

Before joining their guests, Ray and Joe shared some peaceful moments together at a nearby park where we captured some heartfelt portraits. It was the first truly warm spring days we’ve had this season, and the natural scenery created the perfect backdrop for these timeless images—full of love, laughter, and 17 years of shared memories!

We then made our way to Chaplin, a cozy and modern spot that provided the perfect setting for their wedding celebration. Guests were welcomed with cocktails and small bites, filling the space with warm conversation and joyful energy, before moving on to a delicious meal in the main room of the restaurant. The atmosphere was relaxed and full of love, a perfect day for these sweet souls!
