Engagement & Wedding Ring Inspiration
Back in September, I put together a post with some Engagement & Wedding Ring Box Inspiration, so the topic of the actual wedding bands and engagement rings seemed like the next logical thing to write about! I always have fun putting these wedding inspiration blog articles together, but I especially loved gathering the images for this post. Whether you’re in the pre-proposal stage of your relationship and hoping to get a better idea of what style engagement ring you (or your partner!) might like, or you’re planning your day and need some help deciding what you each want for a wedding band, this post is for you! Browse through some of the photos below to see what might suit your fancy!
When Rachel handed me these rings on her wedding day, my eyes lit up! I loved the white and rose golds on her engagement ring, as well as the rose gold on her wedding band. Andrew’s wedding band complemented the set perfectly with a mix of white, yellow, and rose golds. See more of Rachel and Andrew’s coastal summer wedding at Haley Mansion in Mystic, Connecticut!
I love uniformity in a ring set, but I also enjoy it when our couples choose rings that suit their own taste and style! Julia’s engagement and wedding rings matched wonderfully, and I enjoyed the textures of Taylor’s groom’s band as well. Emerald cut diamond engagement rings will always be some of my favorites. The absence of any other stones really lets this diamond pop! See more of Nicole and Kyle’s summer engagement session at Farm Creek Preserve in Rowayton, Connecticut!
If you’ve been following me for a while, you know I love a timeless wedding style and details. This ring set was just that! See more of this classic New England fall wedding at Artisan at Delamar Southport in Fairfield, Connecticut!
If you have a more contemporary style, consider a square cut diamond! I loved photographing this beauty, especially with the diamonds that lined the band of this engagement ring. See more of Liz and Paddy’s summer engagement session at Waveny Park in New Canaan, Connecticut!
You can’t go wrong with white gold! It will never go out of style and will certainly stand the test of time. See more of Emily and Chip’s elegant and intimate backyard New England wedding in Westport, Connecticut!
Oval cut diamonds are another favorite of mine! They come in various sizes, and so much can be done with the setting! See more of Nicole and Mike’s coastal fall engagement session at Pequot Yacht Club in Southport, Connecticut!
Round cut diamonds will always be my top choice when it comes to a diamond shape (probably because that’s the shape of the diamond in my own engagement ring!). Heather’s engagement and wedding rings were perfect for her classic coastal wedding, with just a bit of rose gold to add a feminine flair to the set. These engagement rings and wedding bands were so much fun to photograph! The mix of shapes, textures, and colors were a perfect match for this couple’s style. See more of this modern and romantic intimate fall wedding at Chamard Vineyards in Clinton, Connecticut!
Rose gold has certainly become more popular over the years, and I can see why! Though each ring in this set is very different, the rose gold ties them together beautifully. See more of Laura and Mike’s coastal fall wedding at The Inn at Longshore in Westport, Connecticut!
Another reason I love round cut diamonds is because of their classic and timeless style! They’re the most popular cut and have been around forever. See more of Dorit and Sam’s fall engagement session at Waveny Park in New Canaan, Connecticut!
The mix of shapes and diamond sizes in this engagement ring really gave it some wonderful visual interest! See more of Mallory and Joe’s classic spring wedding at Whitby Castle in Rye, New York!
This pear cut diamond is hands down one of my all-time favorite engagement rings I’ve ever photographed. Because the ring itself is ornate, the simple yellow gold bands that this couple picked out was perfect. With all the bling that this bride’s rings had, the groom’s simple and understated wedding band was a wonderful match. See more of Sabrina and Anthony’s fall elopement at Waveny Park in New Canaan, Connecticut!
There are countless choices when it comes to choosing an engagement ring or wedding band that fits your taste and style, and I hope a few of these helped you in narrowing down what you like!
