Fall Engagement Session at Chamard Vineyards in Clinton, CT | Rose & Brian
A CHAMARD VINEYARDS ENGAGEMENT SESSION
It had been a while since Arturo and I photographed one of our couples at Chamard Vineyards in Clinton, Connecticut, so it was great to be back there for Rose and Brian’s fall engagement session! From the moment we first spoke with Rose earlier this summer, Arturo and I had no doubt spending a bit of time with her and Brian during their engagement session would be anything short of spectacular!
Indeed it was, because these two brought along their sweet pup, Izzy, to join them in their engagement photos. Arturo and I love it when our couples bring their dogs to their engagement session, especially when they’re as wonderful and photogenic as Izzy! We walked around the grounds together, stopping every so often among the rows of grapevines to stop for some portraits.
We heard about Brian and Rose’s wedding plans and got to know them a bit more before their wedding this winter. They both radiate joy and cheer, two things we thoroughly enjoy seeing in our couples’ photos. If Rose and Brian’s engagement session gave us even the slightest indication of what their wedding day is going to be like, we simply cannot wait for December to get here!
THE PROPOSAL STORY
Earlier this year, Rose and Brian started to discuss marriage and even went engagement ring shopping together. On July 4th weekend, the two drove up to their best friends' home in Upstate New York. After dinner that evening, the guys went to open another bottle of wine. However, this bottle of wine happened to be a special one, because it was the one Rose and Brian gifted to best friend last year to celebrate his doctorate.
Rose thought that was a little odd, as she wouldn't have chosen to drink that nice bottle on just any regular day. Before she knew it, Brian was behind her, down on one knee, asking her to marry him! Of course, Rose said yes, which was followed by a celebratory bottle of champagne.
These two are getting married in December at New Haven City Hall, and we are so excited for their intimate wedding day! Congratulations Rose and Brian!
