A GREENWICH POINT ENGAGEMENT SESSION

Annie and Mike’s coastal engagement session at Greenwich Point Beach took place on a lovely spring evening in mid-April. I love waterfront locations for portraits when spring hasn’t 100% sprung, and this area never disappoints! It had been a few years since I was at Greenwich Point, and it was a treat to be back, this time with another one of our wonderful couples!

Mother Nature gave us beautiful golden hour light that evening, followed by a cotton candy sunset. The sunlight glistened off the sound, serving as a beautiful backdrop to Mike and Annie’s engagement photos. Our evening ended on the beach as pastel pinks and purples colored the sky during sunset, while this sweet pair cuddled up together to enjoy every last ounce of sunlight.

Annie and Mike were naturals in front of our cameras, and are a beautiful complement to each other. Arturo and I loved getting to know them as we walked around Greenwich Point and heard all about their wedding plans. We know their day is going to be a spectacular one!

THE PROPOSAL STORY

In the summer of 2023, Annie and Mike moved into a new apartment together. Since their move, they’ve always enjoyed taking their dog, Bleecker, to Bruce Park in Greenwich, Connecticut. One November morning, Mike suggested that they take Bleeker for a walk at the park since they hadn’t been in a while. He knew she’d be up for it, and after a quick stroll, M got down on one knee and asked Annie to marry him! They later headed to a local restaurant for a nice lunch, where both of their families were waiting to surprise them and celebrate.

Annie and Mike are getting married next June at Whitby Castle in Rye, New York, and we cannot wait to celebrate them! Congratulations you two!
