A GREENWICH BOAT & YACHT CLUB ENGAGEMENT SESSION
Last week, Arturo and I had the pleasure of photographing Nicole and Ryan’s engagement session at the exquisite Greenwich Boat & Yacht Club in Greenwich, Connecticut. The combination of a charming location, radiant couple, and magical golden hour light created an unforgettable evening that truly showcased the love these sweethearts share.
Nestled in the scenic coastal town of Greenwich, Connecticut, the Greenwich Boat & Yacht Club offers a picturesque backdrop for photos. The club's stunning waterfront location, with its pristine views of the Long Island Sound, sets the stage for romantic moments and breathtaking photographs. Surrounded by the charming marina and various boats, there was no shortage of wonderful portrait locations for Ryan and Nicole’s engagement session!
As the sun set, it cast a soft glow over the water and boats that surrounded us, adding even more romance to this sweet couple’s engagement photos. Nicole and Ryan radiated joy and affection as they basked in the warm light together, slowly strolling on the docks or cuddling up together on the lawn. They’re such a fun pair to photograph and we KNOW their wedding day is going to be a wonderful one!
THE PROPOSAL STORY
On an unseasonably warm December day last year, Nicole and Ryan took their dog, Murphy, for a walk at one of their favorite local beach parks. Ryan decided to take a detour from their normal path to show Nicole the highest point in the park, which he told her offers the best views of the water.
Much to Nicole’s surprise, when the pair reached the top point, Ryan got down on one knee and asked her to marry him! There were a whole lot of happy tears and a big, “YES!” from Nicole. She jumped into Ryan’s arms, giving him a big hug, which Murphy joined in on, too!
These two are getting married this September at Halloween Yacht Club, and we cannot wait to celebrate them! Congratulations Nicole and Ryan!
