A SOUTHPORT HARBOR SUMMER ENGAGEMENT SESSION

Beautiful light, an amazing couple, and a quintessential New England neighborhood helped Arturo and me to create magic for Jaclyn and Andrew’s Southport Harbor engagement session! When all of the components for a perfect portrait session come together, I’m just absolutely giddy with delight. These two were so much fun to spend time with; they’re laid back and easy-going, and both have a fantastic sense of humor. Right off the bat, Arturo and I knew that Drew and Jaclyn were going to be a joy to photograph!

This little neighborhood in the Southport area of Fairfield, Connecticut is one of my favorites for a stroll during the spring and summer months. It has picturesque views of the water with countless sailboats floating in the harbor near Pequot Yacht Club. The various meticulously maintained historical homes, in addition to the waterfront views, make the most stunning backdrops for engagement and wedding portraits!

After snapping a few photos of Drew, Jaclyn, and their sweet pup, we walked around the nearby streets of Southport Harbor, stopping each chance we got to make the most use of the summertime glow of the sun before it set. It’s easy to see that Jaclyn and Andrew are a wonderful match, and their love shows through in each of their engagement photos! If their engagement session was any indication of what their wedding celebration is going to be like, we know it’s going to be a good one!

These two are getting married this August at the Guilford Yacht Club, and we cannot wait for their day to arrive! Congratulations Jaclyn & Drew!
