It was so much fun to be part of this editorial wedding shoot planned by some of my favorite local wedding vendor friends at the Wainwright House in Rye, New York! Westchester has some of the most beautiful wedding venues in the northeast, and I feel so fortunate to live close by to so many of them! If you've been following our blog for a while, you know Arturo and I just love estate weddings; the gorgeous and historic architecture adds a certain timeless quality to wedding photos and portraits. When we photograph estate events that also happen to be on the water, then we have the recipe for our all-time favorite weddings! The Wainwright House sits along a little inlet of the Long Island Sound, boasting picturesque views of Manhattan.

For those of you planning a wedding with a dusty-blue color palette, this is the inspiration shoot for you! Our bride and groom, Lauren and Mike, were married last year and totally rocked their time in front of the camera as they dressed up for another wedding day! They're sweet as can be and share a beautiful chemistry. Mike and Lauren are a beautiful couple inside and out, and having the opportunity to work with them was an absolute joy! We had the most perfect golden light that evening that peeked through the trees, adding a beautiful glow to Lauren and Mike's photos. As these sweethearts walked around the property with us for portraits, Lauren's tulle wedding dress flowed so perfectly and elegantly with each step.

This day was definitely one to remember, from the gorgeous venue, the intricate details, and a wonderful couple. I couldn't be more thankful to have photographed these two sweet souls!
