A WAINWRIGHT HOUSE WEDDING
Tyler and Farrell’s September wedding at Wainwright House in Rye, New York was equal parts elegant and relaxed. I remember Farrell describing their day, “I want our wedding to be intentional. I want there to be meaning and purpose behind the various aspects of the day. We want it to be timeless, yet fun. I've described it as a ‘messy bun’; it looks effortless but has taken time to put this day together.” The day they envisioned certainly came to fruition and more!
Arturo and I first spent time with Tyler and Farrell at their Wainwright House engagement session last summer. They were both easy-going and fun to spend time with, so we knew their wedding day would be just that. From start to finish, it was! On their wedding day, we began our afternoon with Farrell and Tyler as they got ready for the day’s festivities. The groom and his groomsmen looked dapper as ever, as did the bride and her bridesmaids in their elegant gowns.
Their first look took place on the back lawn of Wainwright House which boasts spectacular views of the Hudson River. Farrell and Tyler were married in the same area later that afternoon in a beautiful ceremony officiated by his two sisters. After exchanging their rings and first kiss, Farrell and Tyler made their way back up the aisle with smiles that beamed from ear to ear!
Friends and family celebrated the newlyweds well into the evening under a tent with countless personal details that reflected Tyler and Farrell’s impeccable style. Sweet toasts, endless dancing, and plenty of laughter matched the joy that surrounded the couple that day.
Congratulations Farrell and Tyler! Cheers to endless joy and laughter in the years to come!
