Water's Edge Resort & Spa Wedding in Westbrook, CT | Mollie & Drew

Mollie and Drew celebrated their wedding day at Water's Edge Resort & Spa, a beautiful waterfront venue along the New England shoreline in Westbrook, Connecticut.  It was a warm and unusually humid day for mid-September, but these two didn't let the higher-than-normal temperatures dampen their spirits!

She's an east coast girl and he's a midwest boy.  Mollie and Drew have known each other since college, so it only made sense that he propose to her at their Alma mater!  Mollie wore the most beautiful wedding dress, paired with a cathedral length veil (one of my favorite bridal accessories!).  Drew looked dapper as ever in his subtle blue tux that allowed him to stand out just enough as the groom among his groomsmen.  As a gift to all of his groomsmen, Drew gave them cufflinks made from maps of each of their hometowns.  

Mollie is one of six children, so to her surprise during toasts at dinner, all five of her siblings stood up and gave a beautiful speech they collaborated on together to celebrate their sister and her new husband!  Drew's brother also gave a wonderful speech, touching upon their childhood and all of the life decisions that led him to Mollie.  As soon as the dance floor opened after dinner, the bride, groom and their guests danced the night away!
