A WICKHAM PARK ELOPEMENT
Wickham Park in Manchester, Connecticut is absolutely stunning and it made a beautiful location for Ashley and Dan to elope!! Dan and Ashley were one of our couples this year whose wedding plans were altered due to the coronavirus pandemic. Many of our clients postponed their weddings to next year, but these two wanted to do something different! They decided to have a micro wedding with only their immediate families and wedding party members in attendance while pushing their big celebration to next May.
Arturo and I first photographed Dan and Ashley last spring at their Chamard Vineyards engagement session in Clinton, Connecticut. After spending time with them then, we knew their wedding day (or should I say days!) were going to be nothing short of spectacular! These guys have such wonderful chemistry and share a beautiful love, both of which translate flawlessly into their portraits.
With complications and roadblocks from the pandemic in the last three and a half months of their wedding planning, these two fought HARD to get to this day! As Ashley walked down the aisle with her dad, all of the guests clapped for her and Dan knowing the challenges they had faced. They exchanged emotional and heartfelt vows, which had several of their guests tearing up! Luckily the rain that day held out just long enough for the ceremony to finish, and it started to sprinkle just after the new Mr. and Mrs. walked up the aisle together!
Congratulations Ashley and Dan! Thank you so much for including us in your beautiful wedding day. We cannot wait to celebrate the two of you once again next year!!

After their ceremony, the newlyweds were congratulated by each of their guests. How sweet are Ashley’s grandparents?!
