A FEAST AT ROUND HILL WEDDING
Liz and Paddy’s colorful spring wedding took place at Feast at Round Hill in Washingtonville, New York on a warm May evening. I had been to this beautiful Hudson Valley wedding venue about five years ago, and it was even more wonderful than I remembered! A historical mansion with lush gardens, amazing light, and endless portrait locations… what’s not to love?
Arturo and I had an amazing time working with Liz and Paddy for their FEAST at Round Hill wedding! These two exude love and kindness, two qualities we cherish in our couples! They trusted us every step of the way and were up for just about anything on their wedding day. When our couples are open to building in multiple pockets of portrait time into their wedding photography timeline, Arturo and I are just ecstatic!
We began our day with the bride and groom as they got ready at a nearby hotel. Liz was surrounded by her closest family members and friends who she’d known for 20+ years! She was one of the most calm, cool, and collected brides, which truly set the tone for the day.
If you’ve been following us for a while, you know how much Arturo and I enjoy photographing first looks! We were so happy Paddy and Liz opted to do a first look on their wedding day because it was one of the sweetest we’ve ever photographed! Arturo and I set Paddy up in one of the gardens at FEAST at Round Hill where the light was just right. I quickly ran back inside to get Liz, who was glowing with excitement to see her groom! As she walked up to him and tapped his shoulder, he turned around and a few tears of joy streamed down both of their faces. It was certainly one of the most romantic moments of the day!
Their outdoor wedding ceremony was short and sweet, filled with heartfelt moments and plenty of laughter. FEAST at Round Hill has a ceremony space in another one of its lovely and colorful gardens situated under an enormous tree with branches that extend every which way. If you catch the sunlight at just the right angle, it sparkles through the leaves and branches adding an extra romantic touch to photos!
There was nothing but love, joy, and happiness that surrounded Paddy and Liz on their wedding day. These two are the epitome of a perfect pair, with nothing but love and respect for each other. Arturo and I left their wedding that evening with full hearts and beaming smiles, feeling extra thankful to have been a part of their celebration!
THE LOVE STORY
A few years ago, Paddy and Liz had both gotten out of long-term relationships. To occupy her time on the weekends, Liz started a second job at a restaurant and bar in the same town where Paddy had grown up. As it turns out, this was Paddy’s go-to spot to decompress after a long day at work. When the two met, they each knew there was something special about the other. They eventually started dating, and the rest is history!

Liz and Paddy shared a beautiful first look in one of the gardens on the FEAST at Round Hill property. Each of their reactions were so sweet, and their wedding party even cheered them on from a distance!
Liz’s bridal bouquet was nothing short of dreamy and included two of my favorite flowers: coral charm peonies and ranunculuses!
The guys and gals that made up the wedding party were such a joy to work with!
They’re MARRIED!
Arturo and I were so excited to sneak these two away for a few minutes to photograph their newlywed portraits in the side garden!
