AN INTERLAKEN INN SUMMER WEDDING
Jordan and Andy’s summer wedding at the Interlaken Inn in Lakeville, Connecticut was one for the books! After planning their entire wedding for 2020, but having to postpone due to the pandemic, these two were finally married on a beautiful July afternoon. Just one day before Andy and Jordan’s wedding, the northeast had severe rain and thunderstorms from Hurricane Elsa. Luckily, we had a mix of clouds and sun on their wedding day, but not a single drop of rain!
Arturo and I started that afternoon with Jordan and her girls in the Penthouse Suite of the Interlaken Inn as they got ready for the day’s festivities ahead. After she slipped into her dress, we met Andy down by the lake to get him set up for the first look. He told Arturo and me that he was a crier, so we knew it was going to be a sweet moment to capture for them! Sure enough, as soon as Andy heard Jordan approaching him, tears began to stream down his cheeks. He turned around to see his beautiful bride and embraced her as soon as he could!
Jordan and Andy were married along the water in a short-but-sweet ceremony officiated by one of their dear friends. After being pronounced husband and wife, the two shared their first kiss as they were cheered on by their friends and family. The joy didn’t stop there… guests celebrated the newlyweds late into the night, surrounding them with nothing but love all day!
THE LOVE STORY
Andy and Jordan met years ago through their mutual friend. They remained acquaintances for a long time, seeing each other about once a year. In 2016, Jordan and Andy connected online and began dating. Two years later they adopted their sweet pup, Acadia, and in the summer of 2019, they bought their first home together. This past January, Andy and Jordan’s family grew by two as they welcomed their twin boys into the world!

Right before Jordan arrived to Andy for their first look, he told us that he knew he was going to cry. Sure enough, a few tears gently streamed down his face as Andy heard Jordan approaching before she tapped him on the shoulder!

Floral design can truly transform a wedding reception space, and that’s just what Andy and Jordan’s florist did. Not a detail was spared to create an elegant and upscale feel for guests!
