A MARITIME AQUARIUM WEDDING
Parvin and Brett’s spring wedding at The Maritime Aquarium in Norwalk, Connecticut gave Arturo and me the opportunity to work at one of the most unique venues we’ve photographed a wedding at to date! Their celebration took place on a humid day in mid-May. Due to all the rain we’d had in recent weeks, the grass and trees had finally come to life, which helped to create some wonderfully colorful wedding portraits for the bride and groom!
Brett and Parvin shared their first look at Twin Brooks Park in Trumbull (the same park where Arturo and I had our first look almost 8 years ago!). The overcast skies gave us some incredible afternoon light to work with, which is always a wedding photographer’s dream. After finishing up portraits of the soon-to-be Mr. & Mrs., their wedding party and family members joined us at the park for additional photos. Much to our delight, the rain managed to hold off just long enough for Arturo and me to finish up portraits before we all headed to the Maritime Aquarium to get these two married!
Parvin and Brett’s wedding ceremony took place in the upstairs cafe of the aquarium and was officiated by one of their dear friends. Happy tears were shed (by not only the bride and groom but guests as well!) as sweet vows were exchanged. After being pronounced husband and wife, Brett and Parvin shared their first kiss as everyone in attendance cheered with joy and excitement around them! Friends and family celebrated the newlyweds well into the evening with heartfelt speeches and endless dancing. It was certainly a night to remember!
