A SILVER SANDS STATE PARK ENGAGEMENT SESSION
Oh my goodness, where do I even begin with these two? I had such a wonderful time with Jocelyn and Chris at their Silver Sands State Park engagement session in Milford, Connecticut! The stars aligned and we had the trifecta that makes for a wonderful portrait session: beautiful weather, the glow of the golden hour light, and most importantly, a couple madly in love. The chemistry Chris and Jocelyn have is out of this world! Within the first five minutes of their session, I could quickly see what a strong love and bond they share.
These two are complete naturals in front of the camera. Jocelyn and Chris fell swiftly into each pose, and I loved that they were willing to cozy up together even if it was a little warm that evening. We walked around the boardwalk of the beach, stopping here and there when I found the perfect lighting while discussing their wedding plans in between!
THE PROPOSAL STORY
Last fall, Jocelyn and Chris took a weekend trip to Mount Snow with some of their friends for Oktoberfest. Jocelyn had planned out every detail of the getaway, but luckily had absolutely no idea that Chris was going to propose! The couple and their friends enjoyed a ride on the chairlift up the mountain, taking in the beautiful views of the New England fall foliage. Once they were at the top, the two held each other close and admired the rolling hills around them.
Chris put his arm around Jocelyn and asked, “Do you know how much I love you?” and gave her a kiss. Before she knew it, he was down on one knee asking her to marry him!! Jocelyn was in complete shock and happy tears began to roll down her face; she was in total disbelief and couldn’t form a sentence! Chris stood up, getting ready to put the ring on her finger and asked, “Is that a yes?”, to which she nodded her head up and down. After he slid the stunning engagement ring onto her finger, Jocelyn wrapped her arms around Chris and gave him a kiss as their friends stood nearby to witness it all!
These two are planning a coastal summer wedding next August at The Inn at Longshore in Westport, Connecticut, and I cannot wait for their day! Congratulations Jocelyn and Chris!!
These two were complete naturals in front of the camera! I loved how much they joyfully snuggled up together, even in the mild humidity of the late September evening.
