A WEDDING AT THE INN AT LONGSHORE
Rachel and Craig’s coastal wedding soirée at The Inn at Longshore in Westport, Connecticut took place on a beautiful October day. It had rained that morning, but the sun was shining by the time they shared their first look along the water! Though Craig and Rachel had originally planned a larger celebration with more of their family and friends, gathering restrictions due to the pandemic caused them to downsize. However, the two didn’t let that steal the joy from their day!
Rachel and Craig met about a decade ago when Craig spent the summer working in Rachel’s hometown. Who knew that twist of fate would bring them to this beautiful fall wedding day?! We began the afternoon with Rachel as she got ready for the festivities ahead with her mom and three closest friends. As the sun beamed down on the back lawn of Longshore, Craig waited patiently as Rachel came outside to meet him for the first look. The look of sweet surprise and awe on his face was one of my favorite parts of their day!
Arturo and I moved onto romantic portraits with the bride and groom, who were soon joined by their adorable goldendoodle, Wrigley! I love that Craig and Rachel not only included Wrigley in some of their photos, but he also walked down the aisle with Craig that evening. The two exchanged their vows and rings in a beautiful seaside ceremony before being pronounced husband and wife, and sharing their first kiss!
Congratulations Rachel and Craig! Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness!
