Tropical Warehouse Wedding at The Boathouse of 305 Knowlton in Bridgeport, CT | Samantha & Thalia
I don't even know where to possibly begin in describing how much we adore Thalia and Samantha!! Arturo and I feel incredibly lucky to share a career that allows us to work with some AMAZING couples who are truly, madly, deeply in love. Sam and Thalia are just that; they're definitely soulmates! From the first time I met them to the day we photographed their celebration, all I could think about was how perfect they are for each other! They're so affectionate with each other and supportive of each other's wishes and dreams. Though these ladies have been married for almost fives years, they never had a true wedding celebration. With the help of my two dear friends, Cindy of Detaille Weddings & Events and Joanna of Jo Designs, we created a celebratory day for Thalia and Sam at The Boathouse of 305 Knowlton Street in Bridgeport, Connecticut!
Sophisticated florals and linens paired with soft draping and copper accent pieces helped to tell the story and show the personal style of the brides. This tropical-infused wedding included an intimate ceremony of the Mrs. & Mrs. under a beautifully decorated canopy with tropical florals and greenery. There was a fun-filled cocktail area with Latino-inspired signature drinks and a cigar bar. The reception space was full of stunning decor and meticulous details, some of which included Latino-inspired menus, petal-shaped china, and leaves with romantic Spanish words written in calligraphy to highlight each of the brides' roots.
Arturo and I are honored to have been the ones to document these moments for Samantha and Thalia! Happy 5 years to you beautiful ladies, and many more!
