This was a love story 10 years in the making! Kelley and Jason exchanged their vows at Windrift Hall in West Coxsackie, New York, nestled in the heart of the Hudson Valley. Windrift Hall is an adorable Airbnb wedding venue with plenty of history and charm, a perfect fit to Kelley and Jason's overall vibe and style! They were celebrated by one hundred of their closest family members and friends who were so excited to see them become husband and wife. This celebration was definitely the melding of two families; love was definitely in the air, surrounding Kelley and Jason each second of the day!

This wedding was so special to me and Arturo for so many reasons. Since we first began emailing about their wedding photography over a year and a half ago, we'd been looking forward to this day! Kelley and Jason are two of the sweetest, most genuine people we've ever met. They share a beautiful love story, and even have the same appreciation and love for Hawaii that Arturo and I do! These sweethearts welcomed us into their home last August for their in-home engagement session at their beautiful house in Fishkill, New York where we admired their home decor style, which definitely showed in through in their wedding details!

It had rained that morning, and although the overcast clouds stuck around, everything was SO lush and green for portraits! Arturo and I started the day with Kelley and Jason as they each prepared for the day's events ahead. We loved having the opportunity to work with our good friends, Aoife and Lauren, of Jack and Grace Events, who kept the day running smoothly without a hitch! Their wedding ceremony was officiated by Kelley's brother, which added a beautiful personal touch to the day. Each speech and toast that was made to the newlyweds before dinner was truly from the heart. Kelley's dance with her father and Jason's dance with his mom definitely brought a few tears to my eyes (and everyone else's) that night! The evening ended as they popped bottles of champagne (an ode to their wedding hashtag, #PopChamPayne) while guests surrounded them during their sparkler exit.

I can certainly tell you that our photographer hearts exploded with joy for these two sweet souls! On our drive back home that evening, Arturo and I were talking about the beauty of Kelley and Jason's wedding day. It was certainly a family-centered wedding, in the sense that guests came from near and far to celebrate these two sweet souls. From the moment we arrived, we were even treated like family! Our hearts were (and still are!) full by the end of the night! Kelley and Jason, we wish you endless years of love, adventure, and vacations to Hawaii! Congratulations to the new Mr. & Mrs!

When they bought their house in 2016, Kelley and Jason started a tradition of "Pasta Wednesdays". Over the past two years, they collected all the jars of tomato sauce from their meals and used them for candle holders at their wedding reception!
