A WINTER COASTAL ENGAGEMENT SESSION AT WALNUT BEACH
Rachel and Pat’s winter engagement session at Walnut Beach in Milford, Connecticut took place on a bitterly cold December afternoon, though you’d never know it by looking at their photos! Arturo and I loved hearing about all the wedding plans these two already have in place, despite the fact that they’ve been engaged for only a few weeks!
The four of us walked up and down the boardwalk at Walnut Beach, stopping at a few of our favorite spots along the way. Pat and Rachel were complete naturals in front of our cameras and had no problem snuggling up with each other for their engagement photos. As we got closer to wrapping up their session, the sun popped out from behind the clouds, giving us the most beautiful cotton candy skies!
THE PROPOSAL STORY
While visiting Charleston, South Carolina, Pat and Rachel decided to go for a walk at the beach on a chilly morning before the sun came up. As they arrived at the beach, the most beautiful sunrise appeared along the horizon. Pat had propped his phone up in the sand and suggested he and Rachel take a photo together with the sun rising behind them. Just as Rachel thought he was getting into position with her to take a photo, Pat knelt down on one knee and asked her to marry him. As it turns out, Pat was actually setting the scene so he could record his entire proposal on video!
These two are getting married in November at The Patterson Club, and we cannot wait for their wedding day to arrive! Congratulations Rachel and Pat!
